Important Dates for Seniors
Senior Breakfast: students will be able to bring TWO guests (family members or guardians). Guests will need to present a ticket to get into the event, and must be placed on a guest list for entry. These tickets can be picked up in the Counseling office beginning May 1st.
Graduation: students will need to report to the Broadmoor World Arena (3185 Venetucci Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80906) at 1:30 PM on May 23rd. This is when we will begin rehearsal for graduation which begins at 3:00 PM. Students should bring their cap, gown, and tassel. Students will not have a place to leave personal belongings (purses, bags, etc.) so they should plan to not bring these items. If your student is NOT planning on participating in graduation, please let me know.
- Please check Power School to see your student’s current grades. Any Fs right now could result in your student needing summer school, or even impact their ability to walk at graduation
- Make sure your student has shown me or sent me copies of any college/trade school/military acceptances and scholarships
- CELEBRATIONS: so far, 99% of the senior class has applied to a college, 67% have been accepted, and our students have earned $961,450 in scholarships!
