Meet the GT Teacher

Hello, I am Laurel Reese, the Gifted Resource Teacher.  I am a native of Colorado Springs and a product of District Eleven. This is my 31st year of teaching in this District. I earned my BA at the University of Colorado, Boulder (in piano performance), and received my Masters in Special Education, with a Gifted and Talented endorsement from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.  I am licensed as a Gifted and Talented Specialist, K-12.  It is a joy working with and challenging students to reach their full potential! When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two children, and two dogs.  I like to read, play piano, take bike rides, hike, and I relish time outdoors. I love being part of the Marauder family!
