Mitchell Gifted & Talented Services
From attending social lunches to sharing talents/expertise to creating meaningful projects and goals, gifted and talented students at Mitchell are flourishing! They are leaders in Student Council, AFJROTC, sports teams, and many of the other club/opportunities offered. Their creativity and talents are highlighted in their involvement in drama, art, band, orchestra and choir programs.
In the GT Program, students will have the opportunity to…
Attend discussions during CCRC time about GT academic/ affective needs: ie. Depth and Complexity, perfectionism, multiple intelligences, Imposter Syndrome, etc.
Receive individualized conferences with the Gifted Resource Teacher (Mrs. Reese) regarding ALPs and other GT needs.
Enjoy Social Lunches with GT peers.
Be part of Expert Time: an opportunity to highlight talents and expertise.
Receive Gifted and Talented emails and newsletters about future GT opportunities/events.
